2016年、それまで日本中の珍スポットを
探索していたが、ある日急に飽きる。
ちょうどそんな矢先、
知り合いに廃道探索に誘われ、
どんな装備をしていいかも
分からないまま軽装で帯同。
その際、一歩踏み外せば
滑落死する廃道を歩いたときに、
「自分が本当にやりたかった事はこれだ！」
と気づき、
以降世界中の秘境を探検するようになる。
それまで写真とは旅の記録という認識であったが、
なかなか見ることができない景色を
自分の肉眼だけに収めておくのは
もったいないという想いから、
秘境ポートレート撮影を開始。
「自然界に無い色をいかに目立たせるか」
「自然の雄大さ、人間の非力さをどう表現するか」
というコンセプトを基に、
現在も秘境写真を撮影している。

In 2016, I had been exploring unusual spots all over Japan until then, but one day I suddenly got bored.
At that time, an acquaintance invited him to explore an abandoned road.
Of course, I didn’t even know what kind of equipment I should wear, so I went lightly equipped.
And so I walked along an abandoned road where one wrong step and I would have slipped and died.
It was then that I realized, “This is what I wanted to do!”
Since then, I have been exploring unexplored places around the world.
Until then, I had thought of photography as a record of my travels.
However, I thought it would be a waste for me to be the only one enjoying the spectacular scenery, which is not easily seen.
From there, I began photographing unexplored places.
“How can we make colors that do not exist in nature stand out?”
“How can I express the grandeur of nature and the helplessness of human beings?”
I am always thinking and taking pictures of unexplored places.
